Warriors Series
2025
Team Identity System
As the pioneering designer, I set out to create an new identity for Warrior Series. My goal was to establish a pro-sports look to an amateur level competition, and a team-sports feel to an individual sport.
This was done first by setting up an identity system which serves as base guideline for asset and content creation.
Marketing Positioning
Even though boxing is an individual sport, I saw an opportunity at the semi-pro level for local stables like Raincity Boxing's to be marketed as a team-sport.
This way we can build up our prospective athletes to give them an edge up in personal exposure/marketing as they turn towards the otherwise cutthroat professional boxing scene, while simultaneously building a stronger sense of community and camaraderie for the gym as a business.
This is done by structuring Warriors Series like a sports league and producing content that showcases both individuality (of the athletes) and unity (of the boxing gym).
Our examples include soccer-inspired Kit-Releases, Player/League Stats, motivational banners.
Digital Asset Expansion
In-house event photos produced, serving as base assets for content creation.
In order for these to be further developed into high-quality brand assets, I followed a photography direction that would showcase not only the principles of boxing - skill, sportsmanship, and heart - but also the details like brand logos, in addition to having a clean editing aesthetic.
Social Graphics
Using the event photography as well as the identity system, I focused on creating assets and series of graphics that showcase our team/brand's messaging, visual identity, and storytelling.
Leading up to each event, our social media calendar included storytelling initiatives and strategic messaging to compliment the graphics and to boost the Warriors Series audience.
Motion Media
